Megan here! We had a "cold front" on the Space Coast of Florida a while ago, but it's been consistently in the 70s and 80s since. Guess that's a good thing compared the rest of the country - but I like my winter time season, regardless. Growing up in California made me ache for seasons, too.
To conjure up some of that colder weather, I created this group:
Annnnd, I kind of love it. I wasn't sure where to start, but I knew I wanted to keep a blue and white theme. It's a trend, you know!
I wanted a big bold flower to set off the "white" portion of the design, so I went back to my favorite flower, the California Poppy, and discovered it has a botanical relative, the Anemone. And this flower is just as pretty, but with a little more quirk. So off I went!
I got to try out some new lettering, too. It's kind of flourishy, with a bit of Old-English flair.
I'm hoping this collection makes you think of moonlit nights and frosty windows. But at the same time, I'm hoping you're warm wherever you are, and you can always visit Florida for a pick-me-up from your winter blues.
I'd love to find some homes for this artwork.
I'm very attached to it would love to see it be snatched up a few markets.

I live in Minnesota and we have a reputation for being the land of ice and snow. And yes, the winters get long around here. I love winter but come March I’m very ready for spring. This is when being an artist has its perks because in my work I can make it whatever season I want, even when the view on my canvas does not at all match the view from my window. Here’s a look at some of the ways I’ve been surviving this winter through some art therapy.
